The Westman Islands

The Westman Islands are located South of the main island of Iceland, and to get there, we will take a 40-minute ferry ride.

The islands are lying on top of a volcanic system, and in fact, they all have been created by suboceanic volcanic eruptions. The most recent one was Surtsey in 1963.

This wonderful tour includes some light hiking, sightseeing, and a museum visit.

Golden Circle and farm visits

This tour is an extended version of our Golden Circle Essentials tour with two additional farm visits.

One of the farms is a dairy farm, operated by the same family since 1750. They make delicious homemade ice cream. The best in Iceland. (And we will definitely have one).

The second farm is a greenhouse where tomatoes are being grown. This is where we will have our lunch, while we learn about the miracle of growing tomatoes in Iceland!

Vikings and Waterfalls

This tour is for whoever wants to travel off the beaten tracks. Discover less visited places, but also learn about history.

Not in many places in Iceland Vikings monuments have been found in good condition. On this tour, besides beautiful waterfalls, we will visit one of those ruins. Later, we will see a reconstruction of it, to learn how people used to live back in those days.

The Snæfellsnes Peninsula

A tiny piece of land stretching westwards of Iceland, famous for having hosted the shooting of some of the Game of Thrones episodes, but not only.

The peninsula of Snæfellsnes is rich of tales and legends from the Icelandic sagas. It is also a region where all types of Icelandic landscapes can easily be found. Probably why its nickname is “Iceland in miniature”
